Warranty Contract
WARRANTY CONTRACT
Vintage Chronos Germany GbR warrants to any person who has purchased a watch from Vintage Chronos Germany GbR or from the online store at (http://www.vintagechronos-germany.de/) (customer), subject to the following conditions, that such watch will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two year from the date of purchase.
If, contrary to expectations, such a defect should occur within this period, Vintage Chronos Germany GbR will remedy it by repair at no cost to the customer or – if repair should not be possible – supply the customer with a watch with the same reference number (there may be deviations in the shape and color of the dial and the strap).
In addition, Vintage Chronos Germany grants a corresponding guarantee for all service or repair work carried out by Vintage Chronos Germany for the work carried out for a period of one year, which begins with the return of the watch to the customer.
The guarantee applies to the functioning of the watch when displaying the time and the functioning of existing complications. This with the caveat that quartz movements are generally more accurate than mechanical movements.
Excluded from the warranty are the water resistance of the watch as well as breakage/loss of the glass, winding mechanism, winding crown, spring, pushers and buttons and the like as well as the strap/bracelet, especially on leather straps.
Also excluded is damage caused by dropping/bumping the watch or by dirt or moisture in the watch or if the watch shows characteristics that indicate external influences or intervention by unauthorized persons, such as improper repair.
In these cases, Vintage Chronos Germany is not liable for the resulting damage to the watch itself or for the consequences of such damage, of whatever nature, to other objects or persons.
This warranty must be presented with every claim. Without a valid warranty certificate, repair can only be carried out at your expense.
I. Making use of the warranty
If you want to claim the warranty, please hand over your watch together with the original invoice and the filled out warranty card to Vintage Chronos Germany.

Vintage Chronos Germany will bear the costs of sending in and returning the watch if Vintage Chronos Germany finds a defect covered by this warranty.
In the case of a shipment by the customer, the customer bears all risks associated with the shipment, in particular that the watch is lost or damaged during shipment.
II. Applicable law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Statutory rights to which the customer is entitled due to a defect in the watch are not affected by this warranty.
