I had to show someone your watch. It really blew their mind - James Bond (No Time to die). This Rolex Submariner 5508 Small Crown dates back to 1959, but its age definitely doesn't show on this beauty. The reference 5508 was introduced in 1958. This example is therefore one of the first 5508 models. It is also the last version without crown protection before the Ref. 5512 and later the 5513 were introduced. The watch symbolizes the end of the early Submariner era. In addition, the watch still has the original Red Triangle bezel inlay, which makes the watch a very special collector's item.
